Omnidawn's Spring Prosody Workshop is right around the corner.

Hosted by David Koehn, with feedback from Rusty Morrison, the event features a star-studded lineup of killer craftpeople. I'm featured along with Kazim Ali, Saddiq Dzugozi, and yours truly. I can't WAIT to talk about sound in poems - and what happens when you put the best words in the best order.

Classes are on Sundays, 10 AM – 12 PST, for 6 weeks, from April 12–

Larksong Writers’ Place is back for another Speed Writing & Reading Holiday Party! The readings and workshops will span poetry, fiction, memoir, and songwriting!

Here are the deets:

  • Time: Noon - 2:00 pm CST

  • Format: Virtual (Zoom)

Here’s the format:

  • We alternate five-minute readings with 15-minute mini-writing workshops.

  • Workshops start with a craft talk and end with a writing prompt.

  • The event totals five readings and four workshops.

  • You’ll be inspired, AND have some new writing too!

  • Come prepared to write as well as listen!

  • After the presentations, there’s time for a Q&A with writers and participants.
